The new President of the college is Dr. Maria Rodriguez, and although the main building of the college is still located at 300 NE 2nd Avenue, the college is now a sprawling complex that has expanded through the construction of other, larger buildings, taking over a 5-block radius. The graduation ceremony of Miami-Dade Community College’s 2023 graduating class took place at the prestigious James L. Knight Center in Miami, located next to the Miami River and home to the most celebrated performances, and sporting events. The current Social Studies Chairman is Mr. Michael Johnson.
