For the effect of grandeur in the chosen area, start by gathering extra-wide red ribbon at the center of the ceiling to create a lavish, ribbon canopy. Once you have the extra-wide ribbon set up, you can layer a smaller width gold ribbon over the red, and after the red –wide ribbon is in place, layer a smaller width green ribbon over the gold. If you choose to have six partitions of 12” ribbons, you will have six red ribbons of 12” each, flowing outward from the ring, and draping down and over the sidewalls. The gold ribbon should be an 8” extra-wide ribbon, and the green ribbon should be 6” wide. This layering of red, green, and gold Christmas ribbons is the skeleton from which you can attach, or hang, shiny, reflective objects of decoration for a NYC Christmas style ballroom decoration! Think of tiny bells, gold color framed mirrors, tiny flower led lights, and you’re on your way to creating a NYC Christmas vibe.
